”In China, over 20 million cars are sold annually. When I look at that figure I find it difficult to sleep. That's not sustainable.”
Electric for the future
The electric car industry is growing rapidly and we are happy about that since we are convinced that the future is electrified. As the first joint venture company from outside the country, NEVS was granted an electric vehicle production license in China. This means we can start producing electric cars locally in China, where the need to cut emissions is significant. With our strategic partnership with battery supplier CATL, we are set to develop and deliver 100 percent electric vehicles to customers in China and globally within the next couple of years.
In a world hurt from emissions we want to make a difference
More than 9 out of 10 of the world's population lives in places where air pollution exceeds safe limits. With about 30 percent of air pollution currently caused by the vehicle industry, we have a responsibility to address this.
Real time data collection is a big deal for our cars as they enable advanced navigation, predictive maintenance, better in-car productivity, customer inputs, and finally, enabling autonomous driving.
Designed for mobility
The average car is parked almost 23 hours per day. Re-thinking and challenging conventional ideas allow us to design our cars for mobility, not for standing still.
NEVS electric cars will soon be launched. Please let us know if you would like us to contact you when our cars are becoming available in your country.
