The opportunity of a lifetime: The very last Saab is up for auction
It’s five years old, but brand new and unused, and is the last Saab to leave NEVS: A very unique Saab 9-3 Aero Sedan Turbo4 . Now it will be auctioned out by NEVS.
The auction will take place later this year. During the Saab car museum festival June 7-9, the car was on public display at NEVS in Trollhättan.
Officially, all production was halted at Saab’s plant in 2011. However, for a short period of time starting in December 2013, NEVS relaunched production of the Saab 9-3 Aero Sedan with a petrol engine. By then, the car production process had been standing still for two and a half years, so it was a complex exploit to start producing cars again.
The final batch of Saab’s were manufactured in the original factory with original parts sourced from around 400 suppliers. During 2013-2014 only 420 cars were made – the last ever to roll off the assembly line in Trollhättan.
Don’t miss this opportunity to own this brand new Saab – the very last of its breed. The auctioneer, starting price and terms of sale will be published at a later date.
