NEVS and AutoX to collaborate on large scale RoboTaxi deployment in Europe
Swedish EV manufacturer NEVS and the Autonomous Vehicle start-up AutoX have entered into an exclusive strategic partnership to integrate AutoX ́s Autonomous Drive technology in NEVS’ next-generation vehicle architecture.
The partnership is directed towards a target of deploying the first large scale RoboTaxi pilots in Europe by the end of 2020, demonstrating and evaluating technology and design of a revolutionary world-first new vehicle type that will shape mobility for a more sustainable future.

The deal highlights significant potential of Protean Electric’s in-wheel motors (IWMs) for electrified transportation.
Protean Electric continues to operate as an independent business; will continue to develop future powertrain and mobility solutions to meet the needs of the market.
The agreement is part of Evergrande’s strategy to become a major player in the global EV market.

At the CES in Shanghai 2017, Asia’s leading tech event, NEVS launched the InMotion concept car; an autonomous vehicle that attracted a lot of interest among visitors. NEVS Annual Report for 2017 ready: Continued investments
NEVS AB has sent its Annual Report for 2017 to Bolagsverket (Swedish Companies Registration Office). Is shows that the losses were 996 MSEK, about the same as the previous year (993 MSEK).
”This is according to plan. We are in a period with very large investments in new car models and a completely new plant in China. As we haven´t started serial production of car you can say that these investments are shown as a loss”, Stefan Tilk, CEO at NEVS, comments.
